(16:45) TRI-COUNTY AREA – There have many issues on the roads in Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey counties today. Several of those were rock and mudslides, flooding, and downed power poles and powerlines. Most of those were cleared up by 4 p-m, but Beach at Shell in Watsonville is still flooded, and only 1 lane is passable on Felton Empire just west of Highway 9. Highway 35 is still closed between Hutchison and Stage Coach, and there’s a new mudslide down on highway in the Big Sur area near coast gallery. A big tree that was across Highway 152 (near Mount Madonna) was cleared earlier today.
