(08:35) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz city officials are holding two meetings to discuss a new mural at Beach Flats Park. In September, two murals in the park were painted over by vandals. Beach Flats residents are encouraged to attend the meetings and share ideas that will be compiled and submitted to an artist. The first workshop will be held Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Nueva Vista Community Resources Center. The second meeting will take place at the same time and place on January 28. (S.G.)
