(19:02) SANTA CRUZ – A Storm Preparedness workshop is scheduled to be held at the Beach Flats Community Center this Thursday evening. Representatives from Santa Cruz City Departments and Community Agencies will be on-hand to provide Spanish-speaking residents with information and advice (in Spanish). The El Nino Storm Preparedness Workshop is slated to run from 6-8 p-m at 133 Leibrandt Avenue. Free emergency kits are being given to the first 75 families, and a sandbag-making station will be set up there as well.
