(04:44) SALINAS – The victim of the first shooting of the year in Salinas is reportedly in stable condition in an area hospital. The 19 year-old Hispanic man suffered several shots to his head after dropping off 2 friends near Parsons Avenue. He tried to drive away from the attack, but crashed his car into a parked car on Rainer Drive. Anyone with any information about the 11 p.m. Friday night shooting (or the 2 shooters believed to be involved) is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
