(15:11) FELTON- The Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District (District) issued a Spare the Air Alert on New Year’s Eve. The alert was prompted by an increase in fireplace and stove use due to a recent cold snap. The alert should be lifted by today (Monday) following a warming trend and several rain systems.
