(18:15) MONTEREY- California drivers are currently experiencing higher gasoline prices than the rest of the nation. While the national price per a gallon of gas is slightly more than two dollars, most of the state is paying more for gas. The higher prices are due problems in California refineries coinciding with peak demands brought on by Holiday travel plans. Industry experts say although demands are waning price in the state will most likely continue to rise.
