(06:29) SALINAS – A boy was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Salinas Tuesday night. The 10-year-old was hit by a vehicle on Sanborn Road near La Paz Middle School shortly before 7 p.m. The driver then fled the scene. The victim was airlifted to a Bay Area hospital for treatment. The suspect vehicle has been described as a gray or silver car, possibly a Honda, with one broken headlight. Anyone with information is urged to contact Salinas police. (S.G.)
