December 16, 2015: Soledad Felon Arrested Following Standoff

(07:22) SOLEDAD – A Soledad man was arrested early Wednesday morning on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm. During an unrelated investigation, an officer spotted a sawed off shotgun inside a home on the 200 block of Second Street. Police determined convicted felon 43-year-old Robert Bagwell lived at the residence. Law enforcement surrounded the home and Bagwell surrendered shortly after 1:30 a.m. A search of the home recovered the shot gun and multiple rounds of ammunition. Bagwell was booked into Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
