(14:32) CARMEL- The California Coastal Commission has voted against recommendations to allow fire rings on Carmel Beach. During a session on Friday the commission voted 5 to for in favor of Carmel city leaders ban on wood fires on the white sand beaches. Coastal Commission staff had recommended approving wood burning in 26 fire rings on the beach.
