(06:53) SALINAS – Fire crews contained a brush fire in Salinas Sunday morning. The blaze was reported near Highway 183 and Davis Road. Investigators believe the fire was sparked by a homeless encampment. In response, fire officials are urging the homeless to prevent fires and seek a warming shelter instead of sleeping outside next to a fire during the winter months. (S.G.)
