(20:08) MOSS LANDING- A judge sentenced a Moss Landing man convicted of harassing a protected species. 71 year old Richard Niswonger pled guilty in September to violating the Endangered Species Act, after witnesses reported seeing him shooting an air rifle at a southern sea otter pup. Niswonger told authorities he shot at the pup because its crying bothered him. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine, serve six months of probation, and complete 150 hours of community service.
