(07:50) SOQUEL – The public is invited to participate in a tour of the new Heart of Soquel Park. Participants will be introduced to the park’s sustainable features including rain gardens, permeable surfaces and riparian restoration. After viewing the park, attendees will be taken to the Soquel Creek Water District to view the site’s underground water infiltration facility. The tour will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the park near Soquel Drive and Porter Street in Soquel Village. Reservations are required and can be made at coastal-watershed.org . (S.G.)
