(20:05) SACRAMENTO- Commercial and recreational Dungeness crab season will be delayed indefinitely. The California Fish and Game Commission voted yesterday (Thursday) to postpone the openings until it is determined that crab populations no loger possess deadly amounts of domoic acid. The delay effects all areas north of the Ventura/ Santa Barbara county line. Algae blooms are believed responsible for introducing the toxin into crab populations.
