(10:52) MONTEREY – Monterey police are looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred this week. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. Monday on the 100 block of Tide Avenue. The victim was reportedly sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by a man armed with a gun. He held the victim at gunpoint, took his wallet, and fled the scene in the direction of Surf Way. The robber was described as a Hispanic male with a thin build and wearing all black clothing. The incident may be connected to a second robbery that occurred last week on the 500 block of Casanova Avenue. Anyone with information is to contact Monterey police. (S.G.)
