(07:35) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Salinas man has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including kidnapping, assault, and false imprisonment. 29-year-old Steven Acosta is suspected of kidnapping a woman in her car last week. He allegedly committed a similar crime in Greenfield in July. Acosta was arrested on Friday following a police standoff. He is being held in Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
