(17:21) SANTA CRUZ- The Santa Cruz SPCA is reminding the public that Halloween can be stressful and even dangerous for some pets. The organization says pets should remain indoors during the festivities. Pumpkins and candles should be secured, candy should be kept out of reach of dogs and puppies. Some animal costumes can provoke certain types of pets. Also black cats can be victimized as the result of Halloween misconceptions and should be kept inside.
