(08:49) SALINAS – A Salinas man was arrested Wednesday night on charges of attempted murder and making criminal threats. 29-year-old Gerardo Rodriguez Hernandez is suspected of attacking a man with a knife on the 300 block of El Camino Real shortly before 10:30 p.m. The victim, Javier Hernandez, was transported to Natividad Hospital for treatment. Gerardo Hernandez was apprehended and booked into county jail. (S.G.)
