(07:13) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz city officials have voted to lift water restrictions through the winter. The decision has been made as the winter rainy season approaches. The city’s water department is reminding the public that while restrictions are no longer being enforced, the community should still continue conservation efforts. Residents have cut overall water use by 31% since May, which is 6% more than the water department’s goal. The water restrictions will be lifted, effective Sunday. (S.G.)
