(06:36) MONTEREY COUNTY – Three Castroville men have been sentenced for robbing a Carmel jewelry store. The incident occurred at La Renaissance Jewelers in November of 2013. 24-year-old Miguel Jimenez, 19-year-old Leonel Ramirez and 18-year-old Omar Vasquez were arrested in connection with the robbery after they were found with the stolen property. All three pleaded guilty to robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and gang enhancements. This week, Jimenez was sentenced to 25 years. Vasquez received a 20 year sentence and Ramirez was sentenced to 10 years. (S.G.)
