(10:11) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz County health officials have lifted the swimming advisory at Cowell Beach. The beach had been posted since June due to elevated levels of bacteria. Samples recently taken from the site have indicated bacteria levels safe for human contact. The public is being advised to remain mindful of lagoons, storm drains and stream discharges countywide, which regularly have unsafe levels of bacteria. (S.G.)
