(07:41) WATSONVILLE – A man was arrested in Watsonville on Sunday for assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies were dispatched to the Mount Madonna Inn around 1 p.m. following a report of an altercation. 51-year-old Rodney Van Dine allegedly fired a shotgun during a dispute with a person he believed to be trespassing near his property. No one was injured in the incident. Van Dine was apprehended and booked into county jail. (S.G.)
