(14:49) SCOTTS VALLEY- A Scotts Valley man has been arrested for residential burglary. Shortly after 3 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Bean Creek Road after receiving a 911 call from a resident who had locked himself in a bedroom upon hearing someone inside the home. When police arrived to the scene they found 45 year old Jason Christopher Gerald exiting the front door with stolen property in his possession. Gerald was booked into county jail. Authorities are asking the public to report suspicious vehicles and persons, and to lock all doors and windows.
