(08:24) MONTEREY – Monterey police are advising residents to remain vigilant following two burglaries. Two homes were recently burglarized in the Del Monte/Laguna Grande neighborhood. Both break-ins occurred within 48 hours. As the holiday season approaches, police are reminding residents to install a home security system, lock all doors and windows, and make sure their home is well lit. Anyone who sees suspicious activity is encouraged to contact Monterey police.  (S.G.)
