(06:57) MONTEREY COUNTY – One person was injured in a crash involving a big rig and a train near Salinas Monday night. Officials say the Amtrak train collided with the big rig at Highway 101 and Spence Road around 8 p.m. One person on the train sustained minor injuries. Traffic was backed up on southbound Highway 101 while authorities cleared the roadway of debris. The incident is under investigation. (S.G.)
