(06:22) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Over a dozen businesses in Santa Cruz County have been recognized for meeting and exceeding environmental standards while conserving natural resources. Thirteen local businesses have been certified by the Green Certification Program, an incentives-based program designed to reduce and prevent pollution. Thrive Natural Medicine, Scotts Valley Sport, Capitola Health Center and Mountain Elementary School are among those that have been recognized. The businesses will be awarded their certificates next Tuesday. (S.G.)
