(15:10)-SOLEDAD- Soledad police have arrested a suspect in connection with last week’s fatal shooting. On Thursday officers were dispatched to the corner of Monterey and Oak Streets around 4:30 p-m, following a report of a shooting victim. 37-year-old Eric Shackleford was found fatally shot in the parking lot of Buena Vista Homes. Investigators working with the South County Gang Suppression Unit apprehended Jose Carlos Romero. Romero was booked into county jail, he is expected to be formally charged this week.
