(08:50) MONTEREY COUNTY – Monterey County fire crews are nearing full containment of the Tassajara fire. The 1,086-acre blaze is now 94 percent contained. Twelve homes and eight outbuildings have been destroyed by the fire. At 1 p.m. Thursday, evacuation orders within the fire perimeter will be cancelled and road closures surrounding the fire area will be lifted. (S.G.)
