(18:30) CARMEL VALLEY – Nearly 800 firefighters are still working to put out the Tassajara Fire, which is 75 percent contained. fire inspectors say 12 homes have been destroyed by the 1-thousand 86-acre Carmel Valley wildfire, and another was damaged. The evacuations inside the fire-line are still in-place, while the evacuations outside the fire-line have been lifted. Some roadways in the Tassajara Fire Zone are still closed. The evacuation center at Carmel Middle School was closed this morning. The nearby Laureles Fire has been 100 percent contained (since Monday night). It burned 95-acres off of Laureles Grade Road (between Highway 68 and Carmel Valley Road).
