(09:58) MONTEREY – A Monterey high school was locked down Monday following a report of a suspicious person. Students at York School reported a man with a rifle on a neighboring roof top around 2 p.m. Law enforcement officers placed the school on lock down and cleared the parking lots before contacting the owner of the building next door. Deputies determined that the man was on top of the roof with a pellet gun eradicating pigeons. He was cooperative with the investigation. (S.G.)
