(08:05) CARMEL VALLEY – A Carmel Valley man was arrested Monday night in the Tassajara fire area. Firefighters found 63-year-old Jack West in a disaster zone and asked him to leave, due to safety concerns. West then attacked and attempted to punch a firefighter. He was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
