(07:54) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Two cleanup events are scheduled to be held in the San Lorenzo Valley on Saturday. The Valley Women’s Club and Save Our Shores is holding its 29th annual SLV River and Road Cleanup from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteers can check in at the Felton Covered Bridge Park, the Ben Lomond site at Highway 9 near Fillmore Street, or the SLV Redemption and Recycling Center. The event will coincide with a cleanup at the Lompico Community Center from 9 a.m. to noon. (S.G.)
