(09:11) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – A number of Santa Cruz County schools will be dismissed early Thursday and Friday due to an extreme heat advisory. Temperatures are expected to peak above 100 degrees in the San Lorenzo Valley. Boulder Creek Elementary will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. and San Lorenzo Valley Elementary will let out at 1:25 p.m. SLV Middle School and SLV High School will both be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. (S.G.)
