(Updated at 07:42) – Calfire crews have contained a 5-acre fire in the Boulder Creek area. The blaze was reported near Bear Canyon Road. One building was damaged and evacuations were put in place. The evacuation notices were issued and Bear Canyon Road is expected to reopen by 10 a.m. A second closure at Sunset Ridge near the Byington Vineyard and Winery is now open. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
