(15:45) GREENFIELD – Deputies arrested a man for weapons possession in Greenfield this morning. A vehicle pursuit occurred when deputies attempted to pull over 36-year-old Sergio Ortega near Thorne and Arroyo Seco Roads just before 2:30 a.m. Ortega finally yielded to deputies on the 200 block of El Camino Real, where officers found him in possession of an illegal loaded rifle and another gun with several rounds of ammunition. He was booked into Monterey County Jail for firearm possession and an outstanding warrant.
