(08:48) PLEASURE POINT – A fundraiser is being held in Pleasure Point this weekend to help a hit-and-run crash victim. 25-year-old Nicole Brown was struck by a driver on Treasure Island Avenue in June. Brown’s legs were paralyzed in the crash. The suspected driver, 17-year-old Trevor Maddy, is being prosecuted in juvenile court. A 24-hour running event will be held at CrossFit Amundson beginning tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. The event will end at 6 p.m. Saturday. Runners will pay a $25 entry fee.
