(09:19) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Moss Landing woman has pleaded not guilty to three felony counts of animal abuse. Late last month, humane officers rescued over 100 animals from a residence on Dolan Road. The property’s owner, 56-year-old Dena Rissel, was arrested. Rissel has since been released on the condition that she will not possess any animals throughout the case. She faces up to two years and four months in county jail. Rissel is due back in court September 8 for a preliminary hearing. (S.G.)
