(06:18) MARINA – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Marina Monday night. Officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Owen Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. following reports of gunfire. At the scene, investigators found several cars hit by bullets and one round lodged in the bed of a sleeping 5-year-old. The child was not injured. Witnesses reported seeing a group of teenagers engaged in an argument before hearing nine rounds being fired from a handgun. The crowd dispersed shortly after. Police believe the shooting is gang-related. (S.G.)
