August 13, 2015: Sentencing Scheduled for Former King City Police Officer

(10:08) MONTEREY COUNTY – A former King City police officer is scheduled to be sentenced for embezzlement. Mario Mottu Sr. was arrested for having a retired patrol car in his private possession. He pleaded guilty to two felony counts of embezzlement. One of the charges was reduced to a misdemeanor after he agreed to testify in the trial of former King City Police Chief Nick Baldiviez. Mottu will be sentenced on September 16. (S.G.)
