(08:57) SANTA CRUZ – A team of UC Santa Cruz students has launched a project that focuses on reducing the world’s carbon footprint. UCSC’s iGem team consists of over 25 biomolecular engineers, bio-chemists and bio-informaticians. The group is focusing on engineering a micro-organism to improve biofuel production.
