(17:50)- LOS GATOS- An illegal pot growing operation in the Santa Cruz Mountains was raided yesterday morning (Thursday). Santa Clara county Sheriff’s deputies acting on tips from neighbors surrounded a residence in the vicinity of Loma Prieta and Chiquita Roads near Los Gatos. Officers used a megaphone to order five suspects out of the house. Over 800 pot plants were seized worth an estimated 600 thousand dollars. The suspects have been detained while the case is being reviewed by the District Attorney.
