(06:15) SAN LUIS OBISPO – Four police officers have been arrested after allegedly abusing over a dozen children at a boot camp for at-risk youth in San Luis Obispo County. The county’s sheriff’s office launched an investigation after receiving complaints from the parents of children who participated in the Leadership Empowerment and Discipline Boot Camp Program in May. The victims allege that they were assaulted by the officers running the program. This week, deputies arrested Marissa Larios and Patrick Nijland from the Huntington Park Police Department, as well as Carlos Gomez-Marquez and Edgar Gomez from the South Gate Police Department. All four have since posted bail. (S.G.)
