July 12, 2015: No Charges For Salinas Police In 2014 Fatal Shooting

(17:01) SALINAS- The Monterey County District Attorney’s office announced on Friday that Salinas police committed no wrong doing in a 2014 fatal shooting. The DA said that the two police officers who opened fire on an intoxicated knife wielding 26 year Osmar Hernandez on May 9th of 2014 acted within the law. Hernandez was one of four latino men killed by police in a four month period last year.
