(08:03) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Firefighters extinguished three wildfires in Live Oak early Tuesday morning. Crews were dispatched around 4 a.m. following reports of smoke near Simpkins Family Swim Center. Arriving firefighters located three small wildfires at Twin Lakes State Beach. All three were contained within 20 minutes. Investigators believe the fires were started by fireworks. (S.G.)
