(18:30) HOLLISTER – A 35 year-old Hollister man has been arrested for shooting off illegal fireworks, which injured a number of children at a block party over the weekend. Shawn Bourdet said the firework tipped over and shot mortars into the crowd after he lit it. A 9 year-old boy was airlifted to a trauma center after he suffered severe burns to both legs. A number of other children also suffered burns in the incident, and one suffered a broken arm. The kids had reportedly been lighting Safe and Sane fireworks when Bourdet brought out his illegal fireworks, and set them off. (KSCO News)
