(08:54) APTOS – Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies raided a dispensary’s marijuana grow in Aptos Monday. Deputies were dispatched to the property on Fern Flat Road shortly before 9 a.m. after receiving complaints from neighbors. The operation, which supplies medical marijuana to Granny Purps in Soquel, was growing 2,000 plants. County officials recently approved a measure that banned commercial marijuana grows and limits growers to 99 plants. Deputies took all but 99 plants from the Aptos property. No arrests were made and no citations were issued. (S.G.)
