June 19, 2015: Watsonville Police Release Description of Rite Aid Robber

(Updated at 09:31) – Watsonville police have released additional information in a recent case of armed robbery. The incident took place shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rite Aid on Freedom Boulevard. The robber entered the business, held pharmacy employees at gunpoint and demanded prescription medications. He then fled the scene. The robber has been described as a Latino male in his 30s, around 5-foot-7, and over 200 pounds with dark hair. He wore a black baseball cap, a black zippered jacket and carpenter pants. His clothes also appeared to be splattered with paint. Anyone with information is to contact Watsonville police.
