(14:30) SANTA CRUZ- The woman killed in Wednesday’s hit and run has been identified. Authorities say that at about 12:45 a.m. patrol units responded to a report of a fatal hit and run collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Highway 1 and River Street. The victim 59 year old Dene Diannthe Shaw of Santa Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Santa Cruz police.
