(11:05) WATSONVILLE– A man was fatally shot in Watsonville Friday afternoon. Authorities say the incident happened at about 2 p.m. near the 900 block of Main Street where a lone gunman shot a man described as a transient in his thirties, once in the chest. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, his name is being withheld pending notification of family. The shooter may have fled in a dark green SUV. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Watsonville police.
