(17:54) CAPITOLA– Capitola authorities are warning residents to take precautions after a recent burglary. On May 27th a home was tented for fumigation on the 1500 block of 45th avenue. The next day the home owner returned to find the residence had been burglarized. The fumigation tent had been cut and a window smashed and thousands of dollars worth of property were taken. Police say this type of crime is relatively uncommon and could have been prevented with an alarm system.
