(08:24) SANTA CRUZ – Thousands of Santa Cruz residents were impacted by a power outage Wednesday afternoon. Over 4,000 PG&E customers lost electricity due to an equipment failure. The outage impacted the Boardwalk, as well as neighborhoods near Seabright and California avenues. Power was restored to most residents by around 2 p.m. (S.G.)
